This was my contribution to the winther-competition at Kagekompagniet in 2006.

I´d seen Marzela Sanchez demonstrate how to make sugardolls in Birmingham.

 

It won 1. prize :)

My daughter also won 1. prize in childrens competition, so this was a great day ;-)

Wonderful cakes, congratulations!!! (even though in was in 2006 :-) ) Your lady figure is stunning, the best i've seen!!! Have you done any tutorials that are available to the public?

A Tilda Egg. This is my first competition-cake.

A small easter-competition at Kagekompagniet. It´s a Pina Colada cake

with nougat-ganache and cover of marzipan with decorations of sugarpaste.

It won 1. prize :)

My cakes in 2005

This was the very beginning of my little old cake-hobby. 

The one in particular that started it all was my best friends wedding-cake. We searched the internet for inspiration and found tons of beautiful sugarpaste-decorated cakes. So exciting! 
She went for a classic, simple design though, but gave me a cake-decorating course at kagekompagniet.dk to thank me for making her cake. One thing led to another, and after a couple of courses, i was completely hooked :)
