Wiltons Baroque

Trying out my new mold from Wilton - Baroque mold. Great to work with, i love where Wilton are going these days - some new thinking and if i may say so improvement of cutters amongst other. I bought it at Sofisticake and perhaps this little styrofoam dummy gets to stay there for a bit.

The scrolls are painted with golden lemon from edable art. -The favourite!

  6. Very beautiful... Loving the colors with the gold... Great job! I have a question, I noticed you bought the Golden Lemon on a website that is from the UK. I'm from the US.. Can I still purchase from this website and how would I know the the US price? I hope to hear from you. Thanks!

  7. Thank you very much, anonymous ;)

I searched google for US-shopping regarding Edable art, but couldn´t find any.. I´m sure you can purchase from Blue Ribbon, they even have a currency calculator on their site so you can find your price.

  9. My friend and I love this cake you designed She wants me to make it for an upcoming party...Of course wit your permission... I have the Wilton mold, but noticed that the large baroque you have on the center, is not on the mold. May I ask where can I get this? Also the rose on the top seems a lot larger than on the wilton mold. Did you flatten it to make it bigger? One more question, what size is the top and bottom cake?

  10. Gnyce; I´m glad you like it, of course you can use it - go right ahead :)
If you have the Wilton mold you are home free, the reason why some of the decorations seem larger is, that it is a mini dummy, only about 30cm´s tall! :)
The only thing i have modified is the border with the golden pearls, i cut off the edges on that one to size it down a bit.

What name color did you use for the fondant? Is the bottom tier a 6in dummy?
