My cakes in 2012

 

 

I made lots of dummies this year, mostly for Sofisticake, the cosy little cake-supply shop in  Roskilde, wich i also got to tend a few times. Such fun assisting cake-enthusiasts with tips and tricks on how to make beautiful cakes :) I also got to teach a Royal Icing course at Sofisticake wich was a great challenge, and went along well.

Unfortunately the shop is now closed, goodbye to Sofisticake, hello to Cakeprint.dk. Maybe I´ll get to explore cakeprints more, I´ve tried them a few times and even supplied cakes and photos for the new homepage, and they´re great to work with unlike the prints I´ve tried before.

I took a quick trip to Birmingham to visit Cake International fair, great to be back after missing out the last couple of years.

My little blog has been very well visited this year - according to my standards. Twice there´s been over 1.000 visitors on one day! Plus a couple of times 5-600 visits a day.

Thanks for stopping by in 2012, I´ll do my best to keep the blog running with interesting and inspiring cake projects. Maybe not so much fondant in future, but one never knows.
